Welcome to Terrassa, to the 52th Pegasus Council meeting, 20th Student Conference, and Educational Workshop on Virtual Labs and Online and Distance Education!
On May 9, 1902, the first stone was laid for the building designed by the architect Lluís Muncunill, called "Palau d’Indústries," which became the headquarters of the Technical School of Industrial, Aerospace, and Audiovisual Engineering of Terrassa (ESEIAAT) at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia · Barcelona Tech (UPC).
In September of the same year, the regulations for what was then called the "School of Industrial Engineers" were approved. Thus, at the beginning of the last century, in the midst of the Second Industrial Revolution, Terrassa, along with Bilbao, Madrid, and Barcelona, became part of the select group of cities in the state that had a higher education center in engineering.
Since then, the Terrassa School has been continuously growing in studies, research, and cooperation with the city of Terrassa. More specifically, in 2004, Terrassa started new studies in aerospace engineering, being the only Engineering School in Catalonia providing the full range of integrated Bachelor plus Master studies that are recognised by the Official Association of Aerospace Engineers in Spain.
In 2022, the Terrassa School entered the Pegasus network and is organizing the Pegasus Spring event on April 25th-27th, 2024.
